Hi, my name is Hannes and yeah, I know, I'm a copycat. I find single serving sites mildly amusing and I wanted to create one myself. This website is obviously inspired by When Twitter is down, Barack Obama is your new bicycle, When Obama wins and other great single serving sites out there.
I also realize Tumblr isn't down very often (not as often as Twitter anyways), but it happens and that's why I created this website :)
Tumblr is of course owned by Tumblr, Inc. This website is a tribute to the amazing platform that Tumblr is :)

In case you're wondering, yes I have a Tumblelog: I am not taxi (partially in Icelandic). I've even set up a Tumblelog for this project: The "When Tumblr Is Down" tumblelog. I also set up one where I post nice photos I come across.
I also set up a Twitter account for this site: @tumblrisdown.
Oh, and I like taking photos, making music, creating videos and t-shirts.
